Have you ever watched a butterfly just casually meandering and fluttering by - it look so peaceful, tranquil and free! They get to land where they want, smell all the flowers and just let the world pass them by. The colors of the butterfly are magnificent with seeming to be no two alike!!!!
Today, we are going to be fluttering with our butterflies and takin you on journies whether it be sniffing the flowers, watching the world pass us by or just showing off our magnificent colors!!! A nice lazy day, so, let get fluttering.....
If you stopped by to visit me today, I really appreciate it but would love for you to see all the butterflies in our hop. The butterfly journey starts with Lynne at Her Craftiness (http://

Ok I must share because these cards are very close to my heart. Yes they a were were done 2 years ago or more.
They contain my 2 very first cut files I ever made from
tracing with MTC. I love them . The main paper on the bottom card was
covered in chalks and rub to get that tye dye look. The paper used in the middle card I think was DCWV.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my butterflies and thank you for not catching me and letting me fly around free. I would love for you to stop and visit < www.lauraleesdream.blogspot.co

Small Creative Spaces to Play In Blog Hop
Have your scrapping and paper crafts taken over an area of your home and that tiny cramped space is soooooo crowded there is barely room for you to sit let alone craft!!!! Oh my, have I hit the nail on the head --- oops, never mind there's no room even for a nail!!!! Us ingenious crafters always can find a space to craft and play with our paper and we're just going to do that and show you our craft space...
Now, don't call the show "Hoarders" on us because they will think we are going to be buried alive but we know better .... If you happened to stumble upon my blog today, I congradulate you that you found your way but would love for you to find your way to the door again --- see, its over there beyond that bag with the new papers and glue gun -- to the beginning of the hop which is Lisa at http://handmadewithlove-lisa.blogspot.com/ You should have arrived from showing of her space!!!!No, it doesn't get larger if you look at it through a magnifing glass!!!!
Now, that you have seen my craft of clutter, I must send you on your way to Vicki http://scrapbookingcreationsbyvicki.blogspot.com/ - oops oh no, watch that avalanche - oops, too late!

Mardi Gras Blog Hop
The colors of Mardi Gras are: Purple which reprsents justice; Green which represents faith; and Gold which represents power.Mardi Gras is always held the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. Mardi Gras is music, parades, picnics, floats, excitement ... and one big holiday in New Orleans! Everyone is wearing purple, green, and gold; and adorned with long beads caught from the beautiful floats. They sit on the ground throwing balls, playing music, having a picnic, and watching the crowds walk by between parades.
Instead of beads, coconuts (which apparently is the most prized throw from floats) and other baubles, we have a great sponsor:
- $15 Gift Card for Treasure Box Designs (http://www.treasureboxdesigns.com/). They are asking you to stop by their blog and become a followr of their blog at http://treasureboxdesigns.blogspot.com/. They are having issues with their blog at this time but asking you become a follower!
- $50 Gift card from Anita Meadows Cannon
Sew, sit back with your beverage of choice, just keep in mind the police will be in full force watching for drunken lewdness as this is a family event! Feel free to watch in costume, as this is a festive hop!! If you have arrived from
Please enjoy my card , I had a BLAST colouring her!
The scroll is from http://www.makeitcrafty.com/
And Lady Victoria is from http://www.kennykdownloads.com/
Hope enjoyed my float in the parade. To continue on the parade route, Your next stop is Kari - http://purplefuntastickcreations.blogspot.com/ . I would love for you to throw me your comments as to my tribute to Mardi Gras!

We're Off to See the Wizard
We're Off to See the Wizard the wonderful Wizard of Oz to hopefully get the Tin Man a heart, the Lion courage, and the Scarecrow a brain! But there's the poppy fields to beware of as you could get very sleepy! The Wicked Witch but we know she's afraid of water. The flying monkeys . . . just totally freaky looking!!!! You're probably still dizzy from the spinning whirling twirling house and watching all those things passing by like a nightmare expecially that Miss Gulch on her bicycle! Poor Toto hiding in the basket, but can you blame him? Don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain as he knows not what he speaks! And then there are the delightful munchkins that sing 3 octives highly than humanly possible. I almost forgot the good witch Glinda - how could I forget her --- she was just too sugary sweet to my standards but as a Good Witch goes, she was the best, but why didn't she just tell Dorothy she had the power to return all along and wait until the end - geesh! And then only bad witches are ugly --- come on now! Its the Merry Old Land of Oz! I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore Toto. . . .
We're paying homage to the Wizard of Oz today with our blog hop! So, grab your beverage of choice and those ruby red slippers of yours, click them twice and repeat after me - "there's no place like home, there's no place like home"!
We have a generous sponsor of Creative Kuts of http://creativekuts.com/ who is offering two (2) $10 Gift Certificates to two (2) lucky winners - winners will be selected by Random draw BUT you must leave comments on all the blogs today along with leaving a comment that you are visiting from We're Off to See the Wizard on their blog page, http://creativekuts.blogspot.com/, and/or like their facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Creative-Kuts/130937843644274

For my project, I created...A Dragon puppet. As I would like to mail this as a gift I did not add the sticks. All legs and the head move. As well as the wings. I traced it from a file and then used draw and cut on my gazzelle. If you look at his feet you can see the colour of the original paper. I cut all the pieces from 1 12x12 piece of paper then hand painted each piece. I had a great time making this. Thank you so much for joining us. :)

My Very own SMASH BOOK and I sure smashed it ....
Well once I got over the fact that it was my book , for me , by me , and it had no theme other than to inspire me and make me smile. ..... I think I was okay. LOL.
I ended up buying a journal at walmart because I wanted lined paper. Not much colour selection but oh well. It came for 200 lined pages and was only 3 dollars. The first 2 photos are before the rest are after I attacked it. I knew I wanted some dividers so I dug out some DCWV paper I was hoarding and could " never use" because it was just to pretty. I also used draw and cut with my Gazzy and made the calender pockets supplied by Irishmist( i think) and Thank you. There is a calendar for each month. I also used Nelda's paper clip as my portable tabs. I decorated the pages and put pockets on the back of each divider. When at this point I tried to get it all back onto the O rings and it was a very very very tight fit So I had to change the O rings up to 1 inch wide. I thought I had to break it in so in 1 pic you will see part of my prisma pencil list , by colour. And you will notice a dragon pic that as off center when cut but rather than throw it away I stuck it in here for me to slowly colour. I also made a gloss nail polish (i use instead of smooch) list by colour. I knew if I did not use it right away I would not use it because it was too nice. I put the calender pages at the back with 2 lined pages behind each .. for notes. There is an Idea section and a House section. Elastic is looped over the front cover to hold it all into place. Oh and yes the T on the cover is ment to be at an odd angle ...... It suits me I am always off kilter. Yes the cover is busy but oh well I will get over it lol.
Sorry this post was so long please enjoy!
